Pamela Mitchell has practiced as a registered nurse for over forty years. Her areas of practice include neurosurgery, emergency medicine, psychiatry and geriatrics. She also holds a master of fine arts degree in creative writing and has taught as adjunct faculty at State University of New York, Adirondack Community College, Glens Falls, New York. She was born and raised in the wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains and now lives in central Oregon's high desert. The earth holds wonder, mystery and sustenance for this often fatigued nurse.
