Abstract

This edited volume explores the relatively new interdisciplinary paradigm of ecocinema. Each author merges film criticism with ecocritical theory. Each essay takes different perspective, and the environmental issues are analyzed with a wide variation of films. The book convinces as an exploration of a relatively new discipline, but leaves apatite for more when it comes to providing theoretical stances for future research.
