Max Oelschlaeger is a retired septuagenarian, living on the eastern side of the Sandia Mountains, outside the urban sprawl of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Now an emeritus professor at Northern Arizona University (NAU), his academic career included chairing the philosophy department at the University of North Texas, serving as the inaugural Frances B.
