Hilary Brown is an Assistant Professor at Brock University in the Department of Teacher Education. She serendipitously arrived at this setting after teaching 13 & 14 year-old pre-adolescent young people for 16 years. Her holistic teaching a learning practice continues to impact her teaching and learning practice at the graduate level and is now beginning to permeate her research journey. This paper traces an ecosophical journey between a mother and her daughter. It begins and ends on the shore of Lake Ontario, but the essence of their soulcentric experience inextricably permeates their lives.
